1975 Yellowstone Cavalier Restoration
Work Completed
For this project, our client wanted to restore her vintage 1975 Yellowstone Cavalier travel trailer. Improvements made to the trailer include the following:

Removed the current MDF ceiling, checked for leaks, and repaired any leaks found.
Installed a Maxxair fan.
Replaced the seal around the door.
Install tongue and groove cedar boards in place of the existing MDF ceiling.
Sealed the roof with Dicor metal RV roof sealant.

Installed two 120 VAC receptacles near the bed.
Installed a 12V power supply and a fuse box for lights and the Maxxair fan.
Installed overhead lights and a new light outside by the entry door.
Installed an exterior receptacle.

Repaired the existing damage to plywood and veneer.
Covered the existing vent hole with plywood for installation of a paper towel holder.
Painted the interior white.
Painted hinges and handles with metallic gold spray paint.
Rebuilt the lofted bed.
Installed trim molding over damaged areas.

Installed a new water inlet and water outlet.
Installed a new faucet with a pull-down handle into the kitchen sink.
Removed the existing water tank and the propane tank.
